Nixie Tube Timer collects no data. None at all.

There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. The app does not send anything anywhere. Every setting you choose — your color scheme, your sounds, your add-time buttons, the timers you have run — is stored on your own iPhone and stays there.

IN DETAIL

  • Data we collect: none. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no way to identify you.
  • Data we share with third parties: none, because there is none to share. The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics libraries, and no third-party software development kits.
  • Data we retain: none. Nothing is gathered, so there is nothing to keep and nothing to delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on your device.
  • Tracking: none. The app does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use the advertising identifier.
  • Custom alarm sounds: if you import your own audio file as an alarm, that file is copied into the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded.
  • Notifications: if you allow notifications, they are scheduled locally by your iPhone so it can alert you when a timer ends. No server is involved.
  • Links out of the app: Settings has links to goodgaryapps.com and to this app's App Store page, where you can leave a rating. Tapping one opens Safari or the App Store, which are governed by Apple's privacy settings and that website, not by this app.
  • Children: the app is rated 4+ and is safe for children. Since it collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.

THIS WEBSITE

goodgaryapps.com is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard web request information such as your IP address in order to deliver the page and block abuse. That is separate from the app, which never contacts this site on its own.

CHANGES AND CONTACT

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Questions about privacy, or about anything else in the app, go through the contact form on the support page.
